The family of Arnold Wayne Wentzell, lovingly known as Arnie, shares the news of his passing on April 7, 2026 at the age of 64 at home in Centre, Nova Scotia.Born in Lunenburg, Arnie was a son of the late Russell and Pauline (Croft) Wentzell.
Arnie was a man who passionately worked with his hands and his heart throughout his life. After graduating with mechanical engineering, Arnie was known for his talent in mechanical work and woodworking. He had the ability to fix, build and create just about anything he put his mind too. Whether it was with work, projects at home or lending a helping hand. He was endlessly creative and deeply hardworking, never too shy away from a challenge. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love for music, hunting and his quiet creativity.
Arnie is survived by his brothers, Clinton (Debbie) Wentzell and Eric (Marsha Veinott) Wentzell; his sisters, Claire Billard and Gail (David) Wile; and his half-sister Susan Baker along with several cherished nieces, nephews and great nieces.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Linda Kenney.
In keeping with Arnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there is to be no public memorial service. Arrangements entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.
