The family of Christopher Scott Richardson, 58, of Martins River, NS, shares the news of his passing at home on Friday, June 12, 2026. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Clyde and Joyce (Hiltz) Richardson.
Chris had a deep passion for music and his home audio system, often rocking out to classic rock bands such as AC/DC, Kiss, The Rolling Stones, and ZZ Top. When he wasn’t at home, he was often out driving—whether that was to visit friends, his daughter and grandchildren in Halifax, or simply to go for a joyride. Chris was known for being extremely caring, compassionate, generous, and loving to all those around him. He will be deeply missed and always cherished by those who knew him.
Chris leaves behind his daughter, Elizabeth Richardson of Halifax; his beloved grandchildren, Gabriel and Lettie; his close cousin, Roy (Nanette) Conrad of Western Shore; as well as several extended family members and close friends.
In keeping with Christopher’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public memorial service at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.
Donations made to Western Shore Baptist Church would be deeply appreciated by the family.

So so sorry to see that Christopher has passed away even after getting past the deaths of his Mom,Dad and Aunt so close in proximity . He would share his struggles with me over the many chats we had each time he would come to the post office to pick up his parcels, as I had known him Clyde & Joyce all of my life . Christopher was fidgety hyper like his Dad and had the gift to gab like his Mom 🙂 Each time I would see Joyce in a store , she would always tell me how much she loved Elizabeth & Gabriel’s visits . My condolences to all of Christopher’s family as he loved every single family member with all of his heart.

Deepest of sympathy with the passing of your dad and grandad, far to soon. I was a friend and I know he was so proud of you Elizabeth and Gabriel how thrilled he was with his little buddy and sidekick. He was so excited and told me the baby’s name before she arrived, he would have been so enamored with her.
I pray you remember all the good memories and the fun times and that those live on in your heart forever because you will always be a piece of him.
