With heavy hearts, the family of Gloria Jean Stickles (Ozon), 77, of Milton, share the news of her passing on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Queens General Hospital in Liverpool.

Born in Liverpool, Gloria was the cherished daughter of the late Bruce Lamont and Grace Mary (Smith) Clattenburg.

In her younger years, she worked at the local fish plant in Port Mouton before dedicating herself to raising her family. Always open to new changes in life, Gloria later moved to Quebec to begin a beautiful new chapter with Murray. After spending six wonderful years in East Angus, Quebec, the couple returned to the Liverpool area. They shared twenty-four years of deep companionship before officially tying the knot in June of 2025. Gloria and Murray were past members of the Sherbrooke Legion. She will always be remembered for her deeply caring nature, her selfless heart that consistently put others first, and her ready laugh.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Murray; her children, Peter (Sherry) Ozon and Lisa (Ricky Cunningham) Ozon, both of Liverpool,; and her brother, Bruce (Jose) Clattenburg, Liverpool; sister, Bonnie (Barry) Francis of Greenfield. She was the proud grandmother of Tonya, Trudy, Tracy, Cindy Ozon, Tiffany, Theresa, Natasha, John and Matthew Stewart, and leaves behind several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Stewart; grandson Gordon Ozon as well as her  sister, Anna Francis.

In keeping with Gloria’s  wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public memorial service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.

In lieu of flowers, the family would deeply appreciate donations made in Gloria’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
