With deep sadness, the family of Gordon Leslie Adams, 75, of Fauxburg, announces his passing on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Harbour View Haven in Lunenburg.
Born in New Glasgow, Gordon was the son of the late Leslie Ernest and Catherine (MacNeil) Adams.
Gordon began his career with the New Brunswick Forest Service before joining Michelin in Coldbrook, Nova Scotia, where he worked for 35 years until his retirement. An avid outdoorsman, he cherished the bi-annual fishing and hunting trips shared with his brother. He loved spending time at the many beaches in the area—Rissers and Backman among his favourites—and enjoyed camping adventures with his partner Barb, which continued until his illness made travel difficult.
At home, Gordon was a passionate computer gamer and found great enjoyment in playing World of Warcraft and online Solitaire.
He is survived by his loving partner of over 20 years, Barbara Keizer; children Neal (Selena) Adams (Alberta), Sherry-Lynn (Andrew Walti) Adams, Ontario, Ryan Keizer (Lauren), Hammonds Plains), and Mark Keizer (Kassy, Lunenburg); and grandchildren, Josh, Jessie, Jace, Brandon, Calvin (C.J.), Anthony (Tony), and Josh. He is also survived by his brothers Ernest (Montreal) and Ian (Ottawa); sister Rose (Thompson) Baille (Pictou County); and several nieces and nephews.
Gordon was predeceased by his brothers Gary and Steven, and his sister Ava Adams.
In keeping with Gordon’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held in the spring of 2026.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordon’s memory to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, or the Maritime Brain Tissue Bank would be appreciated by the family.
