In loving memory of

Greta Marguerite Fleet

15/04/1937 - 20/04/2026

The family have chosen this music to commemorate their loved one.

Greta Marguerite Fleet (née Bond), age 89, passed away on April 20, 2026.

Greta was predeceased by her husband, Willard Franklyn Fleet, in 1999, and by her parents, Charles and Lilla Bond (née Bremner). She was the last surviving sibling of twenty.

She leaves behind her loving children, Gretchen (Mike), Terry, and Travis (Pam); her cherished grandchildren, Adam (Ashley) and Lauren; and great-grandchild, Nathan.

Greta enjoyed bingo, playing cards, painting, gardening, going for walks and drives, shopping, spending time with her family and friends, watching and feeding the birds and deer.

The family extends their sincere thanks to her family doctor, Dr. Jensen, for the excellent care and support provided over the past several years, and to Dr. Martel, her Palliative Care, VON and Continuing Care teams for their compassion and kindness during Greta’s final days.

She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family.

In keeping with Greta’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, 2:00 p.m., at Saint Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Chester. Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.

For those wishing, donations to the South Shore Hospice Palliative Care Society would be appreciated by her family.
