In loving memory of
Kenneth William Rose
The family have chosen this music to commemorate their loved one.
The family of Kenneth “Kenny” William Rose, 83, of Riverport, announces his peaceful passing on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the Mahone Nursing Home in Mahone Bay.
Born in Lunenburg, Kenny was the son of the late Murdock and Reta (Hardiman) Rose. He dedicated thirty-one years of his life to a distinguished career with the Canadian Coast Guard, a role that reflected his hardworking nature. Upon his retirement, he embraced a quieter pace of life, remaining close to his roots and the community of Riverport that he loved so dearly.
Kenny’s legacy lives on through his daughter, Anne Marie (Anthony) Mosher of Riverport; his cherished grandchildren, Bailey and Aaron Mosher; and his sister, Brenda (Wayne) Mosher of First Peninsula, along with several nieces and nephews.
He has gone to join those who passed before him, including his beloved wife, Frances; his brother, Ronald; and his sister, Geraldine Sawler.
In keeping with Kenny’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Shepherd’s Hill Cemetery, Riverport, with Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.
Donations made to Harbour House would be appreciated by the family.
