Sharon Eileen Kirvin

he family of Sharon Eileen Kirvin, 79, of Sackville announce her passing in Halifax at the Halifax Infirmary on Wednesdy, May 28, 2025 with her family by her side.
Born in Kemptown, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Alice (Johnson) and Charles Frizell.
In her early years, Sharon worked at KFC for 14 years, then became a full time homemaker taking care of her family. She later returned to work as a personal care worker as well as a home cleaner.
Sharon was past member of the Sackville Christian Fellowship Church, where she and her late husband Bill attended up until he passed several years ago. In her spare time Sharon wrote poetry, had an interest in calligraphy to compliment her works, as well as writing songs, which she shared with her church. Doing a daily crossword, and a few scratch tickets was a daily ritual. She was a strong lady both physically and mentally, and faced her cancer with determination.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Jeff Kirvin (Michelle Denney), (Cathie Cameron), Tim (Carol) Kirvin. Brothers, Brian and Happy Frizell, and Sister Marie. She had several grandchildren, Krista (Gary) Grimm, Drew Kirvin, Kali Kirvin, Theri Rudolph, Travis Rudolph, Brittnie Singer, Pamela Denney, and great grand son Eric Kirvin.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill) Kirvin, and her daughter, Lee-Ann Kirvin.
In keeping with Sharon’s wishes cremation has taken place, and there is to be no memorial service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Personal Care Cremations.
Donations made in Sharon’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
