Stephanie Marie Barry

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stephanie Marie Barry, 49, of Rhodes Corner announce that she left us too soon and passed away on November 7, 2025.
She leaves behind her son Kdyn, brother John, and her cat named Blue. She had many aunts, uncles, and cousins along with good friends.
She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Craig David Barry, her mother Shirley Ann Morash, and her father Hudson Morash.
She was born in Halifax and spent most of her youth in Pleasantville and Conquerall Bank. She lived in Rhodes Corner since 2003.
Stephanie graduated from Park View Education Centre and completed a cosmetology course at Vocational School, now called Nova Scotia Community College. She changed careers and worked at the Pharmasave as a cashier in Bridgewater since 1997. She was a hard worker, friendly and helpful to many of her customers. She trained countless employees over the years.
Stephanie was a busy gal, always helping out others, she loved experimenting with new recipes and kitchen gadgets. She enjoyed cooking and baking, giving away her homemade bits & bites party mix at Christmastime. She had an interest in trying to grow new varieties of vegetables and had an impressive garden. She was compassionate and had a soft spot for stray cats. She loved getting together with friends. One of her favorite meals was Nachos at Pizza Hut and she enjoyed going to The Knot Pub in Lunenburg. She was a proud bargain hunter and loved seeking out a good thrift sale.
She touched so many lives and was kind, generous, loyal, and thoughtful. Her laughter and humour will be missed by all who knew her.
For Stephanie, her entire world was her family, friends, and her cat Blue.
In keeping with Stephanie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private celebration of her life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Stephanie’s memory made to the family would be appreciated. Donations may be made payable to Sheri Irvine, and mailed to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services, 2106 Hwy #329, The Lodge, NS, B0J 1T0. Stephanie, I know moved away and we lost touch, but we were best friends since elementary school! So many times camping and having a really good time on the weekends lol So many sleep overs at your place, but oh lol…, we never went to school the next day, lol Just so many good times were had and I will truly miss you! I’m thinking of all the times at the campground now, you pretty near lived there with us, and it was amazing… Driving the 3 wheeler like a crazy person I am ! We had so many good times that no one could ever imagine. Stephanie, I will miss you so dearly…you left to early but everything happens for a reason! R.I.P. my friend say hi to mom for me, and to your mom as well! You will always be with me in my memories ! Hugs

I am shocked to hear of Stephanie’s passing. I just spoke to her Halloween day and we chatted about a T-shirt she was wearing. While I didn’t know Stephanie personally, I did know her through her work at Pharmasave. Your passing will leave a big void at the front desk. Condolences to all her family.
