Todd David Lounder – 52 years of age of Auburndale, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, alongside his son. Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of the late David and Gloria (Joudrey) Lounder.
Todd had a passion for and loved many things – being outdoors, animals, professional wrestling, cars (particularly mustangs), but the one thing he loved the most was spending time with his son, Austin. He was a proud and devoted father who wouldn’t give up time spent with his son for the world. He loved to make jokes and could fix just about anything. He was a hard worker and had many different jobs throughout his lifetime. He absolutely loved his dogs; one chocolate lab, Chelsea, and one Great Dane, Sable. To his son, he was the most amazing father anyone could ever ask for and will forever be admired, dearly loved, unfathomably missed, and my hero.
Todd was an incredibly strong man. He was an absolute fighter to the very end. He is survived by his son, Austin, of Auburndale; as well as friends made over the years. Cremation has taken place and there will be no public memorial service. Memorial donations may be made to Colorectal Cancer Canada or the SHAID Tree Animal Shelter.

I recently found out Todd had passed. We were inseparable from grade 2 to 8. On our bikes daily and walking around Naus’s Trailer park pretending we were drunk off my Uncle’ root beer lol. Radio on our shoulder listening to Motley Crew and AC/DC. Gloria would always have a case of pop on hand and visiting David, Mr. Louder, at Mackenzie Bus Line. Friday Night Grand Prix Wrestling and some not so fun moments in the Principals office!!
He was great friend and by the sounds of it, a great father!!! Lost touch but an integral part of my youth,

I worked with Todd for a short time but we quickly became friends , He was a good guy and spoke of his son daily , rest easy Todd , you will be missed my friend
