It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy Lee Nauss, wife, mother, and grandmother. Born in Ninevah to the late Frank Leonard Stockman.

Wendy built her life with Bernard in the community of Sweetland. Wendy loved to travel with her children in their earlier days with many trips to PEI and around the Annapolis Valley. Wendy and Bernard spent their recent years with many weekly trips to the valley just for the drive and shopping which included their favorite store Bargain Harley’s. Wendy was a caregiver to many as well as looking after her grandchildren and known as Nanny Wendy to extended family. She also loved her cat fur babies Patches and Hobo. She was well known for her cooking abilities with many large family meals as well as her baked beans that she donated to the local legion for fundraisers. Wendy and Bernard also spent a great deal of time on their woodland including selling Christmas trees and making wreaths. Wendy also took pride in her local church – St Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Farmville where she was the treasurer and an integral part in running the church services. Wendy loved attending jam sessions and visiting with friends and family.

Wendy spent her last days at Harbourview Haven with Bernard in Lunenburg. We would like to Thank the staff at Harbourview Haven for their wonderful care as well as the staff at South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater.

Wendy is survived by her husband Bernard Nauss (Lunenburg), Children Tremayne (Ann) Nauss, Sweetland, Karen (Lloyd) Westhaver, Mahone Bay, David (Marivic) Nauss, Wileville and Billy Nauss, Sweetland. Grandchildren Jordan, Logan, Madison, and Tyler

In keeping with Wendy’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial service to Celebrate her life at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.
