With a deep sense of loss the family of Wendy Lynn Wodsworth, 65, of Pinehurst, share the news of her passing on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater. Born in Montreal, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Noreen (Foley) Walsh.
Wendy leaves behind her sister, Susan Walsh, of Pinehurst, brothers, Troy (Lori) of Brookhaven, NY, Vernon (Doreen), of Port Perry, ON, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Wendy was predeceased by her sister, Carol Walsh.
In keeping with Wendy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there is to be no public memorial service. Arrangements entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.
For those wishing, donations made to the SHAID Tree Animal Shelter would be appreciated by her family

Auntie Wendy,
I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that you are no longer here. It does not feel real.
I will miss our phone calls, all the laughter, and the little moments that made our relationship so special. I will especially miss yanking your chain just to hear you say, “Sherri-Lynn, don’t you start.” Those memories will always make me smile, even through the sadness.
Thank you for always being there for me, for listening, and for loving me so much. Having you in my life meant more to me than I could ever put into words. Life will not be the same without you, and I will miss you forever.
Most importantly, thank you for being such an amazing great aunt to Cami. She knows just how much you loved her, and she loves you just as much. She is missing you a lot, and I will make sure she always remembers how special she was to you and how much happiness she brought into your life.
You will always be loved, always be missed, and forever be a part of us.
I love you, Auntie Wendy. Always and forever.
Oh Susan, I just learned of Wendy’s passing. I am so very very sorry. I was so hopeful she was getting better after I seen you guys last month. My heart goes out to you. Please know she was a special friend and so are you. Hugs
