The Green Burial Package: $2,200.00 (+ HST)
This package provides a spiritually fulfilling alternative to conventional arrangements, focusing on minimizing environmental impact.
What is Included:
- Professional Transfer: Transportation from the place of death to the place of resting or our facility, and transfer to the gravesite.
- Care & Preparation: Dressing and dignified care of the deceased without the use of embalming chemicals.
- Documentation: Completion of death registration, securing the death certificate, and completion and submission of CPP and Federal Pension documents.
- Coordination: Full coordination with cemetery staff and federal documentation requirements.
- Support: In-home funeral arrangements and professional staffing on the day of the service.
- Tribute: An obituary published on our website.
Selected Options & Merchandise
While our package covers the essentials, families may choose to include additional services or disbursements:
- After-Hours Transfer: Transfers required between 11 pm – 7 am.
- Viewing: Arranged visitations or home wakes within a suitable timeframe.
- Merchandise: Biodegradable shrouds or eco-friendly caskets (a burial container is required but not included in the base package).
- Disbursements: Newspaper notices and other third-party options as desired.
